we have a parking space that comes with our flat, the number is painted on the floor so there are not usually any mistakes, but if someone did I would park them in, so they could not get out and then leave a note on their window saying they have to call me if they want their car back. Then I would politely point out that I rent that space and could they use their own.

Get out and confront them, never had to resort to violence being all tattooed with a shaved head and goatee. Come to think of it, no one ever steals my parking space :)

Unless it has your name painted on it, it's not "your" parking space. So, forget about it and move on to another space.
If your name IS painted on it, call security and have the person paged. If that doesn't work, then you are justified in having them towed.

Back in the day, before I knew better, there was the 'nasty note', tire flattening,keying of the paintjob and the ever popular spray painting. Now I just shine it on. Life is too short. Missed you. you are the thinking persons whacko questioneer.

Once i was in the car with my sister and someone stole her parking spot, she got out of the car and starting cussing at him and he said sorry and went on.

find the nearest parking space available. wait till they leave, kick their car door until dented and leave and come back to the store another day.

Thats actually never happened to me but...
Once it happened to my mom and she got out of the car with a bat. The lady left...so I might do the same.

Usually nothing....they just beat me to it. But I have a roomate who got out of the car and just lit into this girl who knew he was waiting for the car to pull out, and she took it anyway. ( She was really embarrassed)

park further away and grumble for a few seconds to myself... then remember we have no assigned parking.
