Is this a sin? Well, we must assume that you believe in sin and probably are a Christian of some sort. The problem there is you did not say if you were a Catholic or not. I am not, but after reading the book Angela's Ashes I understand a few things. That author was an Irish Catholic and was taught that any touching of the private parts for pleasure was a sin. It drove him so crazy that he finally gave up Christianity all together. If you are in a state of anguish, read his book to find someone in a great deat more emotional pain than you will ever be, I pray. Other Christian churches discourage it because you have sinful thoughts which pollute your mind and distract you from listening to God. But remember that all sins are the same because they tend to separate you from God. So saying "Thou, FOOL" is as big a sin as serial murder, or what have you. Paul, who wrote much of the New Testament, murdered a bunch of Christians before God called Him on the road. God is so pure that we stand in a pretty much permanant state of sinfulness. Which is what Jesus was all about. He had the only perfect blood and He spilt it willingly to pay for all the sins past and FUTURE that you are ever going to commit. You accept His sacrifice and you are covered for life. No problem. He loves you no matter what. Th Bible says ..well then I can sin freely now.?.no problem.?.. and Paul says how could you treat your God that way? If you love Him it is always going to bother your conscience, because Christianity is a love relationship between you and the Father. You do not go around sinning just because you can... because it hurts the relationship.......so you pray and repent every day and ask God what He wants you to do today and if you do that...........He will talk even more tomorrow.....until your heart is warmed by the love relationship within and the protection He provides by warning you away from the traps of the world Power. The opposite is a Christian with a hard heart and a dead conscience. But you cannot ask what God wants you to do to see if you WANT to do it. Your heart must be commited to do whatever it is. Do you trust Him or not? No voting on wheher God's idea is the good one. What does God want? People who do not sin? He did not make any of those kind of people. He wants sons..........like Jesus. Jesus is the first fruit of a crop of SONS! He wants YOU and to work with you the way He worked with Jesus...the example. What could God not do if he just HAD you? Jesus said the things He did we would do also. If you had a daughter and you found out some 19 year old boy put sperm on her hand, how would you feel.? Has she been dishonored, since you have made no relationship commitment to her? What did she do with the sperm? If she put her hand in the correct place and on the correct day , you could be a father already. That is a trap of the world. That is why you were feeling guilty...you lost control of yourself and of the destination of your sperm. Just thinking about this is sin but it is not really about sin anymore is it? It is all about relationship. Virgin? What?...in knowledge or in thought or in action or in action thought about?...who cares? Virgin is the fallen world's way of keeping some sort of score of girls defiled . You do not belong to that world. In Jesus name you are now perfect. Ask God what to do with your lust..it is certainly real enough and He made you like you are. Ask Him. He gives you problems to drive you to Him. He gave you the guilt, so go talk to Him about it. And start reading the Bible every day with prayer. Good luck

It's a sexual act but it's not sex in the traditional sense which is actual penetration. It's not masturbation because it was performed by another person. You are still a virgin and no it wasn't wrong (unless your girlfriend is 13 or something). I'm sure it's a sin to some but most reasonable people would not agree.

I agree. But if you're uncomfortable with it, put a cap on it for a while. wait till you're ready for it, and try other things that aren't so 'guilty pleasure'.
Virginity cannot be truly defined for anyone. There is a lot of physical, emotional, religious, spiritual, and other reasons why it cannot be defined. Some people feel its only when you've penetrated. Some feel they can only lose it when they're married. Some feel they can only lose it when they actually have sex. In reality, it only comes down to this: Do YOU feel as if you've lost it yet? How you feel is your answer.

You're 19 and you don't know the answer to these questions? Do you live in a morman colony or something? Anyways, no it's not sex. I guess you could call it masturbation technically, but nowadays masturbation generally means when you do it to yourself. And no it's not a sin, it's fine to fool around with girls.... jesus christ.

I'm pretty sure you did not mean for this to go in the women's health category.
This is not sex.
According to the traditional definition, only females can be virgins (see http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/virgin), but you have not had sexual intercourse.
Whether this is wrong or a sin depends on your religious beliefs.
Cool down. The world is not going to end, and I doubt God is going to smite you, given the much worse things going on in the world today.

I would classify it as masturbation. To me, sex involves penetration, and none happened here. I'd say you're still a virgin. Don't worry about it; enjoy yourself!
