The people in it!! If your boss is name calling and putting you down he needs to be addressed by you and or reported. No one should be treated without respect in the workplace.

the worst hostility I had at the office was a coworker who actually worked from another computer for three weeks, even though she had her own desk, and never mentioned she was having a problem with me. Apparently she told everyone else though.

Her problem apparently was that she approached me with something when I was tired and I must have snapped at her. She almost turned the entire office against me, saying I was "unapproachable".

I am sorry, but if your boss is always yelling at you and calling you names, you have to report it.......in real life, only those employees who show they can be leaders and stand up for themselves get far, so step up to it. If he is the one who you should report it to, you should consider speaking to him or even consider snapping one day, saying all you hace to say, and have another job waiting.....Good Luck
