What should I wear.....?

Okay... you know how first impression is always a good thing? I am new to this school, what should I wear for the 1st day of school? Should i go with the casual Nike-Jeans-Shirt outfit, or should I wear something different?

I was pretty popular in my last school, but i moved so its a new school, new people, new drama.

Well you're right a good first impression tells alot about you. You should go somewhere in between casual and fancy so they wont think you're just another boy but they wont think you're trying 2 hard. How bout a nice dress shirt and some nice neatly creased jeans with some nice clean tennis shoes. I'd definately turn my head your way!

Why dont you show up looking real GQ? Like, wear a blazer and some comfy, cool jeans, and maybe some boots, a belt to match, and a black T shirt? NO TIE.
Then you would look like Ralph Lauren.

Also, DONT freak out about the kids teasing you about things, if they do. Just act cool about it and avoid the argument. Ask them about themselves, rather than talking too much about yourself.

Joining a clique is important. A clique is a group of kids you think you would like to be a part of. Its alot easier than you think to join a clique. Just make friends with ONE person in it, and they will eventually all accept you as one of them. I had multiple cliques in high school, because I had a good friend or two in several different ones.

Don't wear anything too noticeable, The way things are in high school, on your very first day you just want to blend in. I'd say sneakers, a nice pair of jeans, (loose fit please) and something simple like a polo shirt. A jacket if it's chilly. Very casual. You'll have plenty of time to make fashion statements later on.

Go to the mall and see what others in the area are wearing then make it your own by wearing your own clothes with a touch of the new style. Be comfortable and remember the weather ! Have a great school year!

I live in hickville and 90% of the people wear abercrombie and fitch, hollister, american eagle, or aeropastle. If you were in NY i would say go to bergdorf goodman

wear something different like a nice fitting pair of jeans not baggy. with sandles like brown tong ones. and a logoed t- shirt from a and e or a and f( if you have brown hair wear a blue shirt and if you have blonde hair wear a green or grey shirt.) and wear a hat if you have one or style your hair kind of messy if its short enough i think that is a good relaxed outfit.remember to be comfortable.

If you want to impress then wear some faded( sorta of ripped jeans -optinal) jeans and a nice polo or T-shirt but don't wear one that says something like I am real man or any stupid things like that its a big turnoff, but my best best best advice to u is to smile! When you smile it shows that your freindly, and girls love it! =)

Tell you the truth, it depends on you type, are you preppy? G0th, etc. Wear what you would of worn to your other school, people will accept you for who you are instead of changing just to '' fit in '' with the crowd
