Everything? You don't ask her for gas money, or need new tires?
If you earned it yourself, you are not spoiled. That is called real life and good for you getting out there and getting it done.

You are asking people to pick one of two extremes.... either you're spoiled, or your mom is a crackhead. There's a happy medium, other than these two choices, unless of course your mom really is a bona fide addict crackhead, which I seriously doubt.

True, if you work and get paid, you can buy Abercrombie stuff, it's your right. Your money is your own, you can spend 100% of it as you please. Your mom doesn't have that luxury, that is, if she's the one who works to bring in money for the household. If she's the breadwinner, she has to pay rent/mortgage, car payment, car insurance, car maintenance (tune-ups), gasoline, utilities, food, etc etc. If she's the breadwinner, then she doesn't have the luxury of spending her check as she pleases. Maybe her calling you spoiled is just her wish for that kind of freedom. If that's the case, be understanding toward your mom, and refer to her as a crackhead. She's your mom. Hey, maybe you can buy something, like flowers, dinner, or a pretty vase?

Or better yet, pay some bills.

Be sensitive to your mom.

Something tells me that minimum wage job is being subsidized by other income sources outside your hourly wage.

Start paying rent, doing your own laundry, buying and cooking your own meals, paying all your own bills.

Heck move out and rent an apartment.

Maybe if you show some respect and gratitude for her she would probably back off the spoiled talk... Attitude is everything when it comes to spoiled children.

Just by the rude names you call your mom I can see that she is right-you are spoiled little brat- by the way at 16 you can't legally neither work for paycheck or own a car yourself. So its probably on her name. Stop being such a$%* and listen to your mom.

Your ability to get a job and pay for all those things is admirable at 16 especially if your also saving for college tuition and rent. I don't know if your mom is a crack head, but she could definately look at the brighter side of things.

I would not say your mom is a crack head, but if you have purchased these things on your own I would not call you spoiled.

You are spoiled if you get whatever you want without working for it because someone gives it to you. If you get what you want because you work and you earn it, then you are not spoiled. You are what every citizen should be and are to be commended and not criticized.

you probably smart off to her and act like she has no brains! do you pay for your food, some of the utility bill, some of the house note or rent, cleaning supplies, household products, personal products, furniture eating utensils and plates, car insurance, health insurance, clothes including under garments, etc., haircuts, doctor bills, and other expenses. if you don't then you have nothing to complain about! she has been there and done that so be more respectful to her and apologize to her for your immature, sarcastic, and disrespectful behavior!

If you worked for what you have, then good for you. I wouldn't call that spoiled. I would say that perhaps you should start saving some of your money, but that's your decision.

If you have earned your own money, I would say you are entitled to spending it the way you want.
