He walked out of a Clerks II screening. And not just walked out. He made a bit of a scene.

You can read Kevin Smith's blog about it and hear a radio interview with Mr. Siegel.

My Question is...Do you think this was unprofessional? I do.

I absolutely agree that he had ever right to walk out of the film. It's the WAY he did that I think is unprofessional and frankly uncalled for. He knows that Kevin Smith's movies are full of profanity, etc. He's even called Kevin Smith a brilliant director.

Do I think it unprofessional? Yes and no. He (Joel Seigel) was offended, he had every right to get up & walk out. That part I thought was fine. His making a big stink out of it is very not professional.

But he should have known it would be crude-It's f@#$(&^ Jay & f@#$)&>Silent Bob for F&@$%^&* sake! He F^@&*#&^ should have f^*@^$&(# expected it. The f&@! hole

I also think Kevin Smith's behavior is abismal. But then again, there is no such thing as bad press, is there?

He had the right to walk out but the way in which he did it was unacceptable.

Interrupting or trying to influence the others around him was highly unprofessional.
