Is it becoz they're too overated?
Their music suxs?
They love to take off their clothes?

They've been around for quite along time, since early 90s. And alot of people say they're emo, are they? thought they were punk/rock.

Now that they're on haitus, i just want to say (as a fan / not a big fan) thanks for the good memories, fun music/times.

They were truly a great band for their time. One of their greatest traits were the no-nonsense style of rock and their hysterical and sometimes deep lyrics (prime examples are What's My Age Again, Adam's Song, I Miss You, Feelin This.) As a bassist I truly learned to appreciate Mark's style of play and actually learned how to make bass an essential part of a song (Carousel, anyone?) Travis was and still is one of the best and craziest drummers I've ever heard, and Tom is unique. His latest venture is different, but I applaud him for showing some versatility in musical style. To all those who hate Blink-182, I really can't see the reason, other than the ever popular "music snobbery" which is found in a select group of musical tastes. While nothing they played was complex or extremely groundbreaking in any sense, they remain an all-time favorite in my book and one of the true foundations of mainstream punk (called bubblegum rock by few, not exactly my idea of Blink.) I think they're awesome, and I hope to see Mark, Tom and Travis (show?) to be reunited somewhere in my lifetime.

At least they write their own stuff, unlike say any pop star. That video for "All the small things" was funny as hell, making fun of the backstreet men. Where are those clowns now?? One is now a christian rocker, guess God forgives him for having relations with all those underage girls. Another has to hang out with Tommy Lee to get chicks, while his younger brother was doing Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan at the same time!
I don't love/like Blink, but I respect them. And they are funny dudes, with gorgeous wives and loads of ca$h.

i personally think some of their music is alright, but i dont listen to it because they are sellouts and the punk version of a boy band.
