On a dentist's advice, I brush my teeth for 10-15 minutes without any toothpaste. I sit in front of the TV and brush. Then, if you need to get rid of stain or breath, use toothpaste. So, you can get your teeth clean without it and it is much better for your gums. Then, if your breath is bad, lightly brush teeth and tongue with some baking soda and water.

Use table salt as an emergency measure and will do a second brushing after buying toothpaste from a nearby store.

I rinse my mouth out at least 3 times with moushwash...or I cut the end of the toothpaste tube off, and swish my toothbrush around in there to get what's left.

You can use baking soda in a pinch. Just wet the toothbrush and the baking soda a little.

Just brush with my toothbrush, cause my dentist told me that some toothpaste stays on your toothbrush, so just wet the toothbrush before using.

If you can't go to the store right away, eat an apples (nature's toothbrush), an orange will freshen your breath and chew a piece of gum. However, you can still use your toothbrush.

O.K. Baking Soda is just gross. Warm salt water is the easiest and better tasting way of cleaning your teeth and strengthening your gums.
