FIRST VERSION:
I wish I could vote for someone who promoted policies with the intellectual candor and rigor that is exemplified in Kerry. I wish Bush was a marginal political figure; more of a humorous inconsequential oddity in local politics, as opposed to holding the highest office in the land. And I Wish the government didn’t attempt to shape the opinions of people by purposely manipulating the media through obvious right wing propaganda machines like Fox News.
SECOND VERSION:
I wish I could see more self-professed Christians have the humility of Kerry. I wish Bush was going to behave in a manner that comported more with the Christian values that he claims to profess. And I Wish the government didn't make itself so disconnected from the sentiments of the common man.

I wish I could change the past, and the current president would now be Kerry. I wish Bush was finally understood by the American people for his fraud, lying, manipulative ways, and his stupidity.
