THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

But....no. Mainly because they are actually two different - almost opposite - types of surgeries.

A c-section actually is a cut THROUGH your muscles and into your uterus to (obviously) remove a baby (or in my case, "babies.") It involves a very DEEP cut through a SMALL incision.

A tummy tuck, (which I had done last week - partly due to the c-section) is completely different and does not affect the muscles at all. It is a very SHALLOW cut through a very LARGE incision (hip to hip!), It only deals with layers ABOVE the muscle, and involves pulling skin down to flatten it, though they can "re-tighten" your muscle to some extent during a tummy tuck.

So, your muscles and skin need to heal completely from the C-section before a tummy tuck can be performed properly. And you can easily lose a lot of the "baby weight" naturally once your body realizes it doesn't need it all anymore to help sustain another life.

Hope that helps!

I wish lol, your ob/gyn isnt qualified for that he is qualified for delivering the baby via c-section but not plastic surgery.I used that one on my ob/gyn it would of been nice to get a tummy tuck.

No. The doctors will want to see what will happen over some time.. after you heal.

No they can't because your stomach takes some time to go back to it's original size. You need to wait until your body is back to normal.

You would have to have a plastic surgeon as well as your ob there. It would be expensive and not covered by med. ins.
