yes, even if someone vandalizes a page, they just hit undo and its back to the way it was. You can edit or add any facts to just about anything, just follow the rules though.

Yes and no. About a year ago, Wikipedia was self-maintained and there were no editors. However, a number of politicians were outraged over their profiles on the website. The profiles contained a large number of gossips and erroneous information (i.e. defamation of character or character assasination). It was naive to believe that Wikipedia could be self-maintained. It is normal for people to be opinionated and it is very hard to be objective. The Wikipedia's model was too easy to exploit, anyone can edited anything at anytime and not be accurate. Therefore, the higher ups at Wikipedia decide to make some sweeping changes. As of now, you can write what you want but the website reserves the right to edit or even delete your information.

Yes you can, BUT you have to login and submit/suggest a change, and it will be reviewed by a Wikipedia team member before the change is incorporated.

Yes anyone can make changes but most people that are ignorant can't figure out how to so that is why it stays correct.

i believe that if you find an error in an article you can make the changes and send it to them. if they approve then they put the chages up.
