NASCAR President Mike Helton is evidently in favor of the money and being fair to all of the drivers comes second. How many times have we all seen cases where they make horrible calls? If it gets any worse they need to write a script before each race that everyone must follow.

Wow! Sounds to me like you need to be put in Helton's place. I an most the drivers feel that NASCAR makes the right calls for the circumstances. Sometimes, they make calls I don't agree with but that doesn't mean they are unfair.
Drivers don't get away with everything I am sorry.

And exactly what are you talking about?? A specific incident?? Something that irked you??
Ya know, everyone sure can bash Mike Helton real quick fast and in a hurry, but I couldn't imagine having that man's job. Seriously, you can't make everyone happy. He's trying to make a sport grow even bigger, but still try to maintain some of it's roots.. Not sure what your jif is, but in order to actually give an answer to this there would have to be a specific incident for me.

Some of the drivers are worth more to the sport than others. Therefore, NASCAR will tend to turn a deaf ear and/or look the other way on occasion so they don't turn fans away from the sport. If a driver is important to the marketing of the sport, count on them receiving consolations on occasion.

First thing's first:
Gordon was going to win even if Kenseth didn't get wrecked by him...Plus it was Kenseth's fault he let off the throttle in the middle of the corner!

And yeah I know what you mean-they treat Gordon like he is NASCAR's golden-chlid...On the other hand if Kevin Harvick or Tony Stewart do any small thing they get penalized?! How is it fair??

I am not sure, but do you mean Jeff Gordon relating to the desparation move when he turned Matt Kenseth?
