Very sad. And a British church school at that. Everybody at the so-called "school" should be singing the song at the top of their lungs. Especially the parts:

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky

or:

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
*And no religion too*

Closed minds have a hard time imagining anything. Very sad.

Someone comes along and says "UK church school bans" and then the chorus of "bla bla bla" starts.
Firstly what "UK Church school?"
As a British subject the only Church schools I know are either Church of England Schools or Roman Catholic Schools.
Define!
What was the reason quoted for the ALLEGED ban?
Where can we verify this statement?

I would think that the catholics are actually doing something right for their religion. Banning False Idols in line with the 10 commandments.

If you are not catholic, then why go to a catholic school? seems to be because of exam results. That is the equivalent of stealing the collection money.

More power to 'em i say.

I am not catholic, so dont care what they get up to, but standing up for your religion seems to be a dying art in the west.

God is the only one who has the right to give out pardons. But honestly, that's pretty offensive and immature if I might add. Serious, Jesus was NOT popular. Not even with his own people. There was the huge crowds follwing him around but didn't those same people kill him? I could look at it that way and it makes perfect sense. Either way, I choose Jesus.

Probably because John Lennon is annoying and they would prefer to listen to Freddie Mercury. I would anyway. And my opinion is the only one that counts of course! ;)

"Imagine no heaven, its easy if you try, above us only sky"--well its pretty easy to see why they would consider the song anti Church. Its their church, its their call, its a shame but its understandable.

That is Church stupidity for you, probably someone there is new and is trying to prove himself and get brownie points.
