Well if I have to choose I guess it would be 3 the first being the original and i think the first anime character that was a hit and i think he is still a hit Darien from Sailor Moon, Second Takuto Full Moon wo Sagashite and third inuyasha

My vote goes to Leila from Vampire Hunter D : Bloodlust. I like the stong kick your butt kind of lady!
On a side note: Why do people have to be such jerks and leave mean spirited answers? So you don't like anime.. Good for you but there are probably more people that enjoy it than dislike it. Anime has been around for ever so if you watched shows like G-Force, Voltron, or Mezinger Z growing up and enjoyed then you enjoy anime. People need to stop hatin' because anime is here to stay!!

The best anime character to me is Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. I love his hair, his auto-mail, and i love his six pack when his takes off his shirt. He is the best looking character in the series. I also love the fact that he could do Alchemy without a transmutation circle!!!!!

Anime is crap. It's all the same. Bad stories, bad voice acting, annoying animation style. It all looks the same, there are like what? three styles? It's awful. I really don't know why anyone would watch that crap. Go watch some real cartoons, something by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini.

Its so hard to decide, there are so many, but i think Dark looks the best. Alucard would be second. Dark's from DN Angel and Alucard's from Hellsing, here are some pics.
