Hmm no...I think it was a case of Ronaldo asking the ref if he could kiss Carvalho's crotch better for him..and the ref refusing...Rooney overheard, became so disgusted that he shoved Ronaldo..resulting in his red card....

That is possible. Cristiano Ronaldo said that he said what Rooney did was a foul, but he didnt say anything about a red card. People believe because he winked at the Portugal bench he meant for Rooney to get a red card. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.

cristiano rronaldo only said tht what he rooney did was a foul
he never mentioned the card
however the referee isnt suppose to be influenced by any player
and ronaldo said many times that he only said it was a foul
and it was rooney's mistake to misunderstand or mishear ....because rooney i think gets angry easily and there was no reason at all to hit ronaldo
