I am looking for investors or someone willing to loan me $5000 to purchase start up tools for a very profitable business. The business is in the construction industry and will bring home around $2600 weekly. I need these tools to make this business profitable. The business is in South Georgia, where the construction season is year round. Does anyone know how I can acheive this??

1: Put together a business plan (look on the Internet if
you need to see examples and how one might go about doint
it).

2: Circulate that business plan to trusted friends to make sure
that it looks as professional as you can possibly make it.

3: Take your plan to a bank and get a loan, or if you have friends
with deep pockets try there.

From a bank's point of view, investing $5000 in a business
is *NOTHING*. However, they need to see SOMETHING
that proves you are really a business or prospective business
and not doing it on a whim.

You may end up providing references regarding your good
character, etc.

There is an organization called the "Small Business
Administration" which helps out with similar transactions
(though I have no experience with them).

I do have experience with an organization called "SCORE"
(Service Core of Retired Executives, I think) which helps
young businesses start out with advice about money,
time management, etc.

If you're thinking about a business that could grow outside
of your direct control (franchising, high-tech web companies,
etc.) you might also talk to the Kaufmann group or the
Young Entrepreneurial Organization.

the SBA is a great place to start. You could also check to see if your area has any grant money available, check with your bank for a commercial loan, check with family & friends to see if they want to be investors, maybe even check with another person you know in the construction business about the possibility of a mentorship/partnership. Good Luck! I hope it works out for you!

Compared to offline businesses, the investment required to start an online business is minimal. A popular way of earning money on the internet is by providing information and services. This can be monetised by advertising or charging a subscription. You can also make money online by selling products on auction websites like eBay or through your own website. Get in touch with Dewalt or Home Depot or someone like that and ask if they will sponsor you with some tools if you'll place an advertisment on your truck or on your invoices or something like that. Maybe one of those large magnetic signs for the side of your truck door?
