Interesting that you have the type of relationship with your parents that would require you to be worried about the fact you have a male friend...of course we really don't know if you are male or female but I would suggest that you always be straight with your parents and live life as if your parents would not be disappointed in you....

They know about it. The problem is how to win back their trust. I would tell them why you kept him a secret and did not tell them. Most of the times secrets are because you know what you have done was wrong. It will take time but you need to show your parents that you just made a simple mistake and you can be trusted in the future. Secrets and lies always come back to haunt you.

It isn't long before mum and dad won't be able to administration you anymore. only experience it out. With e mail and on the spot messenger, and doubtless college, it is person-friendly to stay in touch.
