Obviously they're quite different but but in terms of musical quality I'm just curious as to which is most popular.
So, do you prefer Damon Alburn's work with Blur or Gorillaz?

I don't think there is much competition to be honest, granted he has become an arrogant sod now, but with Gorillaz it is not just Damon Alburn's work, it's also got more direction and was quite a fantastic concept.

Blur was good, as a cultural band, but as a music band I still fail to see where the musical skill really came into it, I did like them, certainly they won for me over the Blur Vs Oasis war (although Oasis were far more talented, as much as I hate to admit it). Gorillaz however are very unique with a very specific style that is not seen very often nor done this well on a more mainstream level.

Ah sods to it, I am not eloquent enough to really put it into words, so let's just say Gorillaz are great.

I like Gorillaz more than Blur because they have more of a variety, but Blur rocks
