I asked my hubby the same thing once. His response about why he wouldn't do it, even though I wanted to, changed my mind. He said he loves and respects me. He never wants to bring another woman into our bed, because it might create doubts, jealousy or distrust into our marriage.
Some ppl can handle having a threesome, some can't. If you do, just be sure you and your wife fully understand the possible repercussions.

The problem might not lie in the actual act of the threesome but after the fact. Your wife might be ok with it now but afterwards it could bring out all kinds of jealous feelings. She might start getting pissed if you are talking to her friend on the phone or paying to much attention to her ect. I could see it turning out badly in the end!

I would say if you are both open to it and it works for you two, then do it. I personally have never had a threesome and do not want to. Neither has my boyfriend. I do not like the idea of sharing my boyfriend with anyone, and I know for sure that he does not want to share me with another man or woman. We have enough to deal with from girls hitting on him with me right there to men asking me to cheat on my bf with them to women asking me out! It is so crazy! But I myself would not do it just because in our case it would only make more problems and create jealousy and hostility. Just because we have been together so long and we do trust each other. And when we started dating we made a deal that we would never cheat on each other, and we define cheating as kissing, touching, sex (any type), making out, so in our books this would count as cheating. I mean it would kind of be with each other and the other one would know about it, but it would still be so weird.......and i could not do it with friends or relatives.........never did get into that........never will.......ok im done now.......i never shut up and i am getting off subject........

Yes, if you're willing to take a chance on loosing your wife, maybe even to that female friend if all goes extremely well. This should be telling you something, she's bored and want someone different. So, be careful what you agree to, and be prepared for the consequences.

i know a lot of people do it, but I can't imagine a marriage surviving such a thing. If there are children in the family it will be very bad. You can't fool them. They may not say anything, but they will know and that makes everything you say suspect in their minds from there on out. No love, no trust, no nothing.
