If you have Windows XP, go to Start ==> Run

Type msconfig

Click on Selective Startup

Uncheck Load Startup Items

Click OK and restart your computer...

Run Windows Defender

Download it here...
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

Once you are done scanning return your settings on the Configuration Utility.

go to Start ==> Run

Type msconfig

Click on Normal Startup

Good luck!!!

That last answer was a good one. If you do all that and it still comes back, what you need to do is this.

Go to www.download.com and get Spybot Search and Destroy as well as Ad-Aware

After you download and install these two programs turn your computer off.

When you turn it back on, tap on the F8 key. It will bring you to a boot menu. Choose Safe Mode, then continue to boot up.

Now, Run Spybot Search and Destroy. Fix any problems it finds.

Run Ad-Aware. It will find things. Remove them, then run the program again. Re-run this program until nothing is found.

Go to Start>>Run and type msconfig.
Choose selective start up and uncheck load start-up items.
reboot
If you have an anti-virus program, run it now.
If you don't, go to housecall.trendmicro.com and run the free virus scan. Allow it to fix what it finds.

go to start>>Run and type msconfig
Choose normal startup.
Reboot.

You should be rid of it now. If not, you probably will need the help of someone right there at your side.

Oh, and keep these programs after downloaded. They are excellent and updatable. And if you don't have an anti-virus program, get one.

properly it somewhat is slightly undercover agent ware in accordance to my Google seek and from my comparable adventure you will get rid of it with slightly paintings. My adventure is that the "speedy" fixes do no longer paintings so as which you would be able to easily as properly do it "long hand" as my following training define. provide this a shot; it many times will get rid of very almost any undertaking report or utility. click as quickly as on the very right itemizing interior the left hand pane to hilite it. carry down Ctrl + F; this could open a seek window form in “WINFIXER 2005” and then click on discover next whilst it unearths a “WINFIXER 2005” get admission to, precise click on it and choose Delete and sure. (do this no count if it somewhat is a folder interior the left hand pane or no count if it somewhat is an get admission to interior the final hand pane) carry down Ctrl + F lower back and repeat the technique till you have wiped clean your registry of all “WINFIXER 2005” products. this could be slightly a tedious technique so carry in there. once you think of you have all of it out. bypass lower back as much as the right itemizing interior the left pane, hilite it, and seek for “WINFIXER 2005” as quickly as lower back only to determine you probably did no longer omit any cases of it. as quickly as you have thoroughly bumped off all cases of Winfixer 2005 from the Registry, reboot your workstation. this could reset the registry without each and every of the “WINFIXER 2005” entries and you're able to be rid of your undertaking. desire this helps.

Go to the start menu/search, find ALL winfixer references, and thow them in the trash can, but don't empty it until you restart, s, and make sure everything is working ok, then search again to see if it reloads it's self, and see if it live in the prefetch file. By the way, thanks for the warning, I won't be using that crappy program!
