Personally I can't stand this heat, it makes me cranky, gives me a sore head and also my skin starts to smoke and blister in direct sunlight.

Hot weather = crap.
Media = crap
Birds of a feather flock together.

Hot days annoy me because I can't get anything done as I'm half asleep all the time!

God you guys are dumb (not being abussive).

The Sun is what gives you skin cancer which is rocketting. It's not just global warming, there's more to it. A dozen people have died in Europe today simply from the Sun, maybe more. That's hardly a huge figure but it shows you what the excessive heat does to people not used to it, unlike in say Texas.

Too much Sun has it's consequences - I want people to live their life and not have to wear factor 30 sun crean every hour they are out in the Sun but you hhave to be aware, and no one here has brought it up.

To answer the question - yes the media doesn't make it to be a bad thing, but don,t actually say anything good about it either - they just report on it although warnings even on the news would not be a bad thing. Sunbathing in the recent UK weather for more than even 30 minutes at a time with no cream is a bit silly in my opinion.

Over time, the Sun's effects are brought into lighht if the person has exposed themselves unprotected excessively in many ways:

There is skin cancer, leathery skin texture as well as burnt skin in the short term which is a sign of the damage received by the skin cells and permanent marks on the skin - blotches from very bad sun burn continuously.

It's like almost anything in life, constant continuous loud music throughout life damages the ear drum and reduces the human ability to hear if repeated exposure to loud music. Same with the skin, likewise too much computing etc. damages eyes in long term and so on...

You have to live, but you also don't want regrets, since that is irreversible...

British weather has been the butt of jokes on the worldwide stage and TV for decades.

Now it is hot and dry, the only people complaining are the Brits.

are you a vampire....for most people the sun makes us feel happy! yes it can be hot and uncomfortable but it's better than being cold. go take a dip in the sea or the swimming pool to cool down and while you're there have some fun!

i agree with you, and it is clearly a danger notification that there is global warming, yet they are rejoicing to the amount of heat we are getting - it is not normal and the people are in denial!
