Sure! The devil makes God look Good!
Without darkness, light becomes meaningless... Good without evil to judge it by, loses its value.

Well, only in the sense that we all "work for" God. In other words, no. The devil does what he wants. And God allows it, because He values free will.
At least, that's Christian mythology as I understand it.

Nope, not on your life!!! He was, was, past tense, God's Best-Friend.....God, loved him, so much, that God gave him power, just like God has, but Satan, let it go to his head, and started being bad with his power, so God has his angel kick him out of heaven, to only be ruler of the air, which was suppose to be a considered: a Big punishment, coming from God.. And, he even warned Adam & Eve, about not listening too Satan, or doing stupid things, stemmed from Satan.. But, Satan got sneaky, and the rest is history, and that's why snakes slither, on the ground, now instead of what they use to do, because, God got mad at the snake even, for allowing Satan, to use him, for evil..God, punished the snake, too. You need to read the bible, with the holy-spirits, help.. Maybe, you wont get misiterpeted, anymore, then...And it will make much more sense, to you then........I'll pray for you..

He didn't want to, God trick-f**ked him just like he did Adam and eve:
(Hey kids! I know you don't yet know the difference between good and evil, but here is some great fruit, but DON'T eat it. Ok, I know you will anyway, because you don't know good from evil at this point, but hey, its my universe, and I make the rules!)
and just like Jesus needed Judas, etc. If there is one thing God loves, its tricking people. It even says in the final days God himself will trick as many non-jews as possible into false understandings, just so they won't be saved. Yes, that is GOD again, not Satan. And remember, people, it is GOD, not Satan, that will torture you in the lake of fire, so that the smoke of thy torment shall rise up unto heaven for ever and ever.

Satan was at one time an angel. this was before God created the earth. But Satan rebelled against God (a few angels followed Satan when he rebelled also). This is why some people call Satan the "Fallen Angel." Satan is now pure evil and seeks out ways for man to follow him instead of God.

lol, religion is such a tool!! if you ask me, i think the devil and god are the same person, i mean common god wiped out an entire city, condemned a few hundred thousand in the flood, killed all the first born of Egypt, always threatening to wipe out humanity if we don't worship him......
