Frankly, it is a form of mental illness and probably viewed by the Almighty as a sin of pride, as in" My God told me to...". Run in the opposite direction prior to the lightning bolt!

I think the answer lies in the fact that some people think the Lord can't do his own work.
So, they come on Yahoo Answers and try to do His work for HIm.
I think He's (or She's) doing a wonderful job all by Him/Herself... and I think that people should stop playing backseat driver to the Lord because it probably annoys Him/Her.

They are called to do it. If you don't believe it all you have to do is ignore it. Personally I ignore all the cutesy mispellers out there, and the perverts as well. It's easy to just ignore them. I don't allow them to upset me either. It's just their opinion, and their freedom of speech allows them to preach. And you never know, maybe they will touch just the right person at the right time with something they can resonate with.
