How do you dispose your tampons?
1) Flush it down the toilet
2) Wrap it up and throw it in the trash

You're supposed to dispose it in a special little container in pubic restrooms. At home, it should go in the garbage. It should say that on the package.
My sister in law flushed hers & ruined the toilet because it got backed up.

I've always flushed it, but I've heard recently you're not supposed to do that, especially if you live in an older home (which I do).

I always flush it. Just not the applicator part.
