My child has increased the production of saliva recently... but I cannot tell whether this is related to new teeth or not. Any suggestions?

It could be teething. There are lots of ways to tell. Does your child have any teeth coming in that you can see under the skin? Does your child have a slight fever? Try teething treatment methods to see if that helps. If it doesn't, see your Dr. Good Luck

Could be new teeth.Put his soother in the freezer and when its good and cold let him suck on that if he seems cranky.
