I have "personal web space" from my ISP that I'm using to host a few web pages of personal pictures. Does anyone know how to create a page that would work as a "guest book" where people who visit the site can "sign" and leave comments?

certain you'll surely be able to make thousands of pages - they do no longer take a lot area besides, so even once you've 2-4GB you may do this. maximum information superhighway hosts, like iClickster grant infinite - yet in basic terms infinite for information superhighway website information - no longer for storing backups (like huge audio information) - yet there are different hosts, that use the time period infinite in an highly incorrect way, and characteristic disclaimers - so study what to procure, and ask your information superhighway hosting adult males.

you can probably find some companies that will host a guest book for you. If you don't want to do that you will need to create one using a back end technology (PHP, Perl, ASP, etc)

you are going to need some scripting. ask your isp what languages they support.

if they support perl, then learn perl.
if they support php, then learn php.

whatever scripting language they support, learn it. then write your own guestbook software or get one written in your scripting language.
