Scarface, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, New Jack City, Warriors, State of Grace, Once Upon a Time in America, Bronx Tale, Casino, Carlito's Way, Asian gangster flicks: Infernal Affairs, A Better Tomorrow, Black Rain (although this was an American film, it was filmed in Japan and involved the Japanese Yakuza) I'm sure I missed a few...love gangster flicks...

Mean Streets is a favorite. A dark, underrated gangster movie if I ever saw one....

Fave of all time has got to be Goodfellas---the music, the story--remember when he was totally coked and seeing the helicopter and driving around and stashing the guns going back to stir the gravy and then picking up the guns, etc etc....that was AWESOME!
And the scene in The Untouchables, when the baby carriage falls down those steps in...Union Station in Chicago (?) THat was AWESOME!
AND finally....Scarface...say hello to my little friend... and the world can be yours? AWESOME!

Thanks for asking, you made my day!

F. F. Coppola: "Cotton Club"

.. I cannot explain ... but the mix of gangster-movie and musical elements is very exciting ... Richard Gere never was so good again... and the "score" is unbelievable!!!

PS: of course i love "Godfather" too .. but that's another story ...

I think its Casino. I love that movie and it never really seems to get old. A Bronx Tale and Goodfellas are some of my all time favorites too.

The Untouchables - Robert DeNiro was the ultimate Al Capone. He made the movie perfect. Well, it didn't hurt have Sean Connery either. He was perfect as Malone. The best of the best.
