Yes, they could have released a few palestinian prisoners and saved hundreds of innocent lives.
Thats all Hezbollah wanted. It wasnt until Israel started bombing Lebanon that Israel was bombed too.
Our country could have said stop bombing, but we didnt.
The rest of the world is outraged but we do not care? I care.

No, because Hezbollah is basically a terrorist organization who's main objective is the total destruction of Israel. For some reason they are also part of the Lebanese government. Israel is bombing all of Lebanon since Hezbollah is not living in one part of the country and also to make the Lebanese government dis-avow Hezbollah as a valid political party.
I believe that Hezbollah is getting most of it's funds and weapons from Iran right now and that the Iranian government is pressuring Hezbollah to continue to attack Israel because : 1) they both want to see the total destruction of Israel, and 2) to get the world from being worried about Iran's nuclear capabilities - if the world is concerned about the war between Hezbollah and Israel, it is less likely to confront Iran about their nuclear weapons, buying them more time to develop them.

Do you think Hezbollah would confront Israel without launching terrorist attacks? And by the way, Hez went into Israel and kidnapped the soldiers. What exactly is there to negotiate? I have an idea - Israel should bomb the **** out of Hez and then "negotiate" - get my point? If Hez can't stand the heat, they should get out of the kitchen. You commit an act of war against my country while IN my country, and yes, I will drop bombs on you until you decide that what you did was wrong, correct the act of war, and then maybe if you get down on your knees and beg, I might think about it ( for three seconds ) until I bomb everything else you care for so as not to never, ever do it again.

Never easily, and probably not any more. What needed to happen was for Israel to enlist the aid of Lebanon (which doesn't want a militarized Hezbollah in their country either) to get the captured soldiers. Don't know if that would have worked, but that should have been the first course of action.

If Hezbollah would wear uniforms and come out and fight, it wouldn't be a problem. Instead they hide among the civilian population, and cause their own people to be put in harms way. And the whole time this is going on, Iran and Syria sit back and just love it.

This whole situation just isn't fair!! it pisses me off that an entire country has to suffer because of Israel and Hezbollah's never ending struggle .. and the ones paying the price are civilians mostly children, and a beautiful country that has been struggling to rebuild itself is now being destroyed!

sadly, i cannot really answer your question, because its up to Israel and it has already made its choice, all those people who died during the past week are the proof of that!

Only if Hezbollah quit hiding among the civilian population. They are too chicken to fight it out in the open and rightly so, or they get routed in one day.

No. That's the whole point. Hezbollah are intermingled and entrenched within the Lebanese population. That's why this is such a nightmare.
