In an attempt to demonstrate, by scientific evidence, whether or not Santa

Claus indeed exists, the following points should be kept in mind.
1. No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of

living organisms yet to be classified, and while most of these are

insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer,

which only Santa has ever seen.

2. There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT

since Santa doesn't appear to serve the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and

Buddhist children, that reduces his workload to 15% of the total - 378

million according to the Population Reference Bureau. At an average

(census) rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes.

One presumes there's at least one good child in each.

3. Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different

time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to

west. This works out at 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that

for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of

a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill

up the stockings, distribute the remaining presents around the tree,

eat whatever snacks have been left, get back up the chimney, get back

into the sleigh and move on to the next house.

4. Assuming that each of these 91.8 million stops are evenly distributed

around the earth, we are now talking about 0.78 miles per household, a

total trip of 75.5 million miles not counting stops.

5. This means that Santa's sleigh is moving at around 650 miles per

second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. For purposes of comparison,

the fastest man-made vehicle on earth, the Ulysses space probe, moves

at a poky 27.4 miles per second - a conventional reindeer can run

(tops) 15 miles per hour.

6. The payload on the sleigh adds another interesting element. Assuming

that each child gets nothing more than a medium-sized Lego (TM) set (2

pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 tons, not counting Santa, who

is invariably described as overweight. On land, conventional reindeer

can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that "flying reindeer"

(see point 1) could pull TEN TIMES the normal amount, we cannot do the

job with eight (or even nine).

7. We need 214,200 reindeer. This increases the payload (not even

counting the weight of the sleigh) to 353,430 tons. Again, for

comparison, this is four times the weight of the QE2 yacht.

8. 353,430 tons traveling at 650 miles per second creates an enormous

air resistance - this will heat up the reindeer in the same fashion as

a spacecraft re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of

reindeer will absorb 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy each, per

second. In short, they will burst into flames almost instantaneously,

exposing the reindeer behind them, and creating deafening sonic booms

in their wake. The entire reindeer team will be vaporized within 4.26

thousandths of a second. Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to

centrifugal forces 17,500.6 times greater than gravity. A 250-pound

Santa (which seems ludicrously slim) would be pinned to the back of

his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force.
If Santa ever DID deliver presents on Christmas Eve...he's dead now.

Of course Santa is real, don't listen to these other fools. Santa is a feeling you get every year right after Thanksgiving (some start way too soon!), it is Christmas Spirit.

Santa,as a actual person is not real. But what Santa really is,is the embodiment of all the good things surrounding Christmas. It is the Spirit of goodwill that we all feel from each other. It is children laughing, love, friendship,Peace, hope for a better tomorrow,Carols being sung by a Choir(Hey!This is starting to sound like Carol!).
Essentially,Santa is in all of us that BELIEVE in the Spirit of Christmas. You know the joy you feel at Christmas? That's Santa.

Yes, he is real but the thing is he is in the north pole and all but has the U.S. navy helping with the shipment of gifts. But usually the parents are the ones making the shopping using the "list of gifts you demand from santa".

Santa is not real...
scientifically, a guy can't fly with reindeers all around the world overnight!
have you ever received presents from Santa? or your friends?
Santa is just a nice story to tell children so that they'll be excited about Christmas and love good deeds

but if you believe in him then good for you cuz you should stick to wat u believe in ;)

Oh sure, a jolly fat man rides thru the sky pulled by 8 tiny raindeer giving out expensive gifts to rich kids and poor kids get nothing. Oh yea that makes a lot of sence and tell the poor kids they didn't get nothing because this ficticious person don't give out gifts to bad little boys and girls. And you must be bad cause your poor. And you aint getting nothing again this year.
Number 1 it is a lie! No one goes down the chimmney.
No costumed old man flys in a sleigh.
And rich kids are not always good so as to get the expensive gifts. That is a really bad lie.

You atheists are @$$holes. Where do you come in bringing god into everything? Your worse then the Christians you persecute. You all need to get lives and Santa is as real as every atheist's brain that answers this question with god.
