Know what scares me? A man in a hospital gown directing traffic.
Also, Bible-thumpers out trying to "save" my soul.

Bees, Wasps, and horseflies
When I was 8 years old, we were playing hide and seek outside. In my back yard, my dad had about 10 old tires stacked on top of each other. I though it would be a cool hiding spot if I could jump inside the center of the stack. So I jumped in and in less than 5 seconds I was covered neck to ancle with Red Wasps. I couldn't get out fast enough so I just pushed the whole pile of tires down squirmed out and rolled on the ground. By the time I finished rolling, our babysitter, splashed gasoline all over me to get the wasps off and took me inside, where she filled the bathtub with cold water and put me in while I waited for the ambulance. Two days later, I got out of the hospital, still sore with, they counted (187 bee stings).
LOL I'm 35 now and run like a scalded dog when one flies by.

I was in Viet Nam. Unfortunately, loud noises in my close vicinity send me ducking and running even now, over 30 years later.

Apache helicopters armed to the teeth. Ever have one swoop down on you?
Screw spiders. Those I can deal with. Can't step on a helicopter and squash it.
