I'd rather lose some weight, but barring that, I'd have to take...geez this IS a difficult question, isnt it!
I'm old, I've seen a lot, I can close my eyes and remember what the sky looked like in Montana when I was 5, so I think I'd pick keeping the ol' ears. If I couldn't hear someone say "I love you", or a beautiful song played on the piano ever again, or a baby's laughter, I think I'd die.
Thanks for asking this question, it was intelligent and made us all think, didn't it!??

I would absolutely choose to lose my sight rather than my hearing!
I've been a musician since I started in the band in 5th grade, and to be able to be part of an ensemble and hear the beautiful music that can be made is better than any beautiful thing I may be able to see. One can create, write and listen to music if they're blind, but without sight you can only feel the vibrations, not truly hear the sounds.
Being deaf would be, for me, a fate akin to death.

I'd rather loose my hearing. I am a visual person and I create things with my hands all the time. I'd go nuts not being able to see. I can hear in my head with out my ears working. I have a lot of music and sounds stored there already.

I've thought about this quite a bit, and I think I would rather lose my sight. While it may be easier to get around being deaf than blind, I love music and sound too much to give it up.

my hearing. I probably will loose my hearing. My ears are BAD. I have to read people's lips a lot of time to understand what they're saying. My vision is perfect.
I would rather loose my hearing but I like writing. that would be difficult for me to write if i could not see.

I would rather lose my hearing because as much as I love music the thought of not being able to the sunset is worse.

I agree, would rather lose sight. Once you lose your hearing you are cut off from the world.

I'll have to go with the general consensus of sight. I play bass...and to lose my hearing would be tragic to my life. It's also a lot less fun to constantly say "What?" then "Nice to see you."

My hearing, then I wouldn't have to hear babies cry and throw fits a restaurants (while their parents do nothing) I wouldn't have to listen to people complain about their hard day at work or what friend said what. And I could sleep all day without the noise around me waking me up!
