well, if you look at a glance it looks a little like Deborah, so somebody somewere may of thought its a gril at first

No it doesn't look like a girl's name to me had a friend who's name was Darragh, and he was definitely a guy.

Sort of. I guess it might be one of those name that can be for a girl or a boy, like Jessie or Jamie.
It's a really nice name though. You should be proud of it, no matter what people say.
