if i buy a cellphone off of ebay can i go to my alltel store and get everything in my name soi can use it

1. Make sure the phone is compatible with your service
2. Contact Alltell and see if they can provide the server settings for the new phone
3. Try inserting the sim card (does alltell use sims?) and it should register with the alltell network
I had a similar problem - I bought an unlocked razr for cingular, and I searched for server settings, (to send txt messages, and get access to the internet)... If you don't use that, the phone should work fine to send and receive calls.

It would have to be an Alltel capable phone only, plus you may not get any extras like M2M and N&W for free!

You should call alltel and ask them. I go through us cellular and if i buy a phone off ebay it has to be a us cellular phone.
