Homeopathy :-
Usually Arsenicum Album 200C taken just when a cold is starting will eradicate it within two to three doses.

Drink lots and lots of water, and take lots of Vitamin C. EmergenC is a fizzing drink mix that comes in little packets that you mix with water and it comes in lots of flavors. That's good stuff...take LOTS of it! Also, if you are up for it...mix cayenne pepper in a little bit of orange juice and drink as many times a day as you can. It sounds kinda crazy, but it works! Also eat lots of garlic and onion. A good thing to do with the onion is cut it up and simmer it with honey and then eat a table spoon or so of the honey as many times a day as you would like. I think it is pretty yummy, and the onion, which has antibacterial components, helps to knock out the cold.

I have a remedy that actually works for me. Turn your heat on and wrap up in a heavy blanket. Sweat, Sweat, Sweat! Make sure that you are drinking plenty of water. I drink hot tea as I am sweating in the blanket to warm me faster. It sounds stupid, but it works for me. Extra doses of Vitamin C are good during this time. Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin and any excess is urinated out of your body.

The only thing that I have ever seen get rid of a cold.... Its kind of twisted... When I was in the military, we had to go thru training for gas masks... Well, they throw in a gas chamber with out a mask..(so you know what it is like....) When you come out, everyone is throwing up and if you had or have a cold... Your gonna have snot from your nose to the ground.... I got my composier and later that day I realized that I didn't have a cold anymore!

Air-born: it has a lot of vit C, and other natural supplements that help to ward off viruses. I also take echinecea with the Air-born. Also try to get out and exercise, I know that it might not sound like the best idea, but it will help get toxins out of your system through sweating.

Echinacia, whisky and most importantly; always stay extra warm, wear a hat, scarf, gloves, jumper - whatever it takes to be warm and cosy all of the time without the slightest draught on your body - your body can best fight off the infection like this!

Monolaurin-6 caps every morning and night for 7 days. If you don't start it within the first 24 hours-forget it.

Tea with brandy helps a chest cold to loosen. Water with honey helps with coughing. Take 1,000 MG of Vitamin C a day (it won't hurt you).
