I am going with my husband and mother and father in law and my 8 month old son. I want to know of some good inexpensive restuarants we could go to that would be semi-baby friendly. Any advice?

HI, I lived in VEGAS for about 10yrs & believe me there's kids everywhere!!! you can find the best food deals I think at a place called "O CHARLIES" its a hotel-casino located west of the strip about 5 miles if that? they have several places to eat there but I would suggest the coffee shop... the food is great...the specials & the prices excellent!!! example: steak & eggs w/ hashbrowns & toast is only $2.99....bis&grvy $.99...the pancakes(3) $1.00...the specials change all the time but the food is really good! its avail. 24/7 so you can miss the crowd of people that will be at every buffet around the strip!!! Take your son to circus circus to the BIG PINK MEGA DOME its got rides & games for his age & best of all its nice and cool inside out of the heat!!! HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!

Don't listen to the negative people about bringing your baby to Vegas. I go every year sometimes 3 times a year and there are kids EVERYWHERE. But just stay out of the casinos that is the adults playground. That's all us gamblers ask of you.

The most kid friendly of them all is MGM Grand. They have an awesome water park and lots of restaurants. The Rainforest Cafe is one of them. There food is real good and the prices are right. You would love the Rainforest/Jungle theme. The walls are waterfalls and the ceiling is the night sky with bliking stars and the sounds of crickets and thunder.....this place is so fun.

Also New York, New York. They have a 24 hour restaurant called America (I think thats the name) and they have great steaks and again the prices are right. Its also got a fun theme, the baby will enjoy looking around.

The Ceasar Forum shops have many restaurants and shops for you to hang out in with the baby while the men go off and play. The Venician has a fun gondola ride that can be nice with your baby and husband.

Serioulsy there is so much to do. Vegas has a variety for all types of personalities, likes and dislikes of the sort.......The thing about drug pushers and prostitutes....I AM NOT JOKING, I haven't run into one. You have to order them. They only have Mexicans handing out free magazines and fliers on the streets and they are harmless.

I hope you have a great time, I will be in Vegas this Friday. Be safe and saty cool. Its about 107 today.

Most all the hotels have some type of food court, but The Rainforest in the MGM has great atmosphere for children, prices are about 10.00 + a plate. La Salsa is located in the Luxor and Aladdin is a low priced mexican food care along with the best margaritas in vegas. Prices are lower than Rainforest. There is also a Dennys on the strip and Mac Donalds. If you like buffets, the Excalibur has a pretty inexpensive one. The Cheesecake factory in Ceasars has a huge menu and prices are pretty good, but always expect a wait to get in. You can watch the animated statue show while you wait for a table. Have fun!!!

The Strip itself runs 10 miles long from Mandala Bay on the South to the Fremont Street Experience/Downtown to the North with Circus-Circus and the Riviera being about in the middle. If you want good and inexpensive AND semi-baby friendly try these places:
The Laughing Jackalope-across from Mandalay Bay. Their Monster Burger for $8 will feed a family of 4.
The Ellis Island Microbrewery and Casino-one block East of Bally's on Flamingo and half a block South of the Westin. $5 half chicken from BBQ Rottisserie and Fresh Brewed ROOT BEER. MMMMMM.
The Chocolate Swan in the Luxor...pricey but neat.
Ghirardelli's chocolate shop between Harrah's and the Imperial Palace...for an afternoon bananna split or malted to cool you off from walking all day - $3 ea.
The slots-a-fun foot long chili dogs for $1 next to Circus-circus. split one for 2 people cause that's one big dog!
Quark's Bar in the Star Trek Experience at the las Vegas Hilton - one LONG block East of Circus-Circus. a bit expensive, nut you're paying for the ambiance. Where else can you be served Glop on a stick or a virgin Warp Core Breach complete with fog rising from it and be served by an honest to god klingon? Great time.
Go to the PARIS at 4 pm or 4:30 for the buffet. You get in for lunch cost and get the dinner menu. Ask for seating with a street view to catch the roving minstrels. $20 per person.
The Aztec Inn is one of the better kept secrets of Las Vegas. Sitting in the looming shadow South of the Stratosphere Space Needle, this is the place for a simple and elegant breakfast that won't break your wallet. Feels like Denny's but with your Mother serving and cooking.
Beyond all that, catch the free buses from the rear of Harrah's to the Rio or from the South of the Barbary Coast to the Orleans. Both are ritzy in feel and grand on food offers.
Basically do a toucan Sam impersonation...Follow your nose.
If you want something exotic, try Chinois in the Forum Shops for a nooner sushi thing or find the GOLDEN CALF and bring $100 p/p but the steaks there are worth every penny...it's also the oldest free-standing restaurant in Vegas with a real Maffia feel to it-with good reason.
Also, here are 3 of my top 10 rules in Las Vegas:
1. Wear comfortable shoes. You will walk more than you expect to.
2. Ask and you shall receive. Ask the front desk clerks, the player's club attendants, the waitresses, and the bellhops what you can get for free or where to go for sitting services and such...but ASK!
3. When temptation knocks...GIVE IN! It may not pass this way again. It's better to lose a couple of coins in a machine that you have a "feeling" about than to go sour grapes "I never win." and watch someone else win a million on their first pull. Listen to your little voices.
Bon Appetit

Leave the strip or downtown area and Las Vegas is like any other city.. There are family resturants on most major street corners... If you insist on eating in one of the tourist trap casinos stick to the buffets... Circus Circus has a good one as does the Mirage...

Don't take your kid to Vegas. There is prostitution gambling and all kinds of unsavory people. Why would you want to bring your baby around that? Nothing in Vegas is "baby friendly" or "inexpensive." Also, your baby will be crying and fussy because it is soo hot and people around you will just get annoyed. Realize that when you have a baby you can't bring it with you everywhere.

Las Vegas in itself is not in the business of being very "baby-friendly". The closest thing I can think of is the Denny's on the strip. good luck.
