If woman ruled the world...?

What do you think the differences would be if the world were ruled by woman.... Better? Worse? Same?

Use your imagination- but lets keep it realistic.... go ahead tell me what you think...

I think it will be a better and peaceful world if women ruled the world. Women are better at communication and understanding. Being mothers in the their right, they kinder and more caring. They also have more training in problem solving (from raising kids). Men are quick to use their fist, quick tempered and are easily affected by hormone levels. I really believe that one of these days, this is going to be Amazonian world.

If we were talking about a present-day situation where women just happened to rise to power and became world rulers......The same or worse. In a man's world a woman has to act more masculine than the men around her in order to succeed. Hence, it'd be even worse. Now if we're talking about a matriarchical society, that is, where not just the government but the entire world was more or less a woman's world....well take a look at the Navajo. One of the few native tribes to survive without relying exclusively on casinos. As a matter of fact, one of the tribes that is thriving the most at the present. I think that in the past, since war and hunting were necessary for survival, it made sense that men ruled, since we're just better at that sort of thing. But now that we have the infrastructure to survive without violence, matriarchical rule seems like a good idea. In fact, with women conducting the business of running things, we could spend more time doing the things we like doing, like making our cars go faster, learning kung fu, and going fishing.

Well, Dante. I think that would depend a lot on how the world was run. For example, even though people like Jean Kirkpatrick, Condi Rice and Madeline Albright are women who held and hold positions of influence and power, they basically did and do the bidding of the status quo as they were expected and trained to do. They are just as unadmirable as their male counterparts. However, if by rule by women, you mean, women as a political force brought about revolution and such, I think women would do a far better job than the insane reptilian men who impose on the world misery, hunger, war, insecurity, ignorance and hate. All this talk about no wars if women ruled the world...come on! Most married men, Presidents and commoners alike are entirely manipulated by their wives. Don't tell me that behind closed doors during the great world wars, the women were all sitting idly by while the men were controlling everything. The hand that rocks the cradle....

I'm not sure if it would be better or worse. Most women are very compassionate and like to help others. Most women (like most men) believe in fairness. But then, there are women out there who were just born to be bi*ches and they could screw things up pretty badly!

No matter who we have in office, none of them will be perfect and you know the old saying: You can be liked by some of the people, some of the time but never all of the people, all of the time.

From my understanding the almighty dollar is the controlling factor.

Ok, so I think a certain time each month all the men would have to sleep in the dog house...and there would be great wars....

Honestly, no single person rules the world, so wtf sort of question is this?

People that think there'd be no wars obviously don't know ME. >.< Never underestimate the way women fight. We might not have the muscle men have, but we can always get you in a dark alley.

Not to mention I'm pretty high maintanance and selfish. I don't know what you all are referring to when you say 'no one will go hungry'. My theory is "WORK FOR A LIVING", if you don't then you don't eat.

certain, some sturdy adult males are ladies.... yet when we base the argument on the bible, little question that adult males is the ruling sex. only a similar also that in the time of a society it fairly is in accordance with male-dominance custom, we may be able to say that adult males rules the international. besides the undeniable fact that the international is quick replacing, ladies now are slowly gaining power and comprehend to be a co-equivalent ruler of the international... as well, we call our usa a motherland and the international a mom earth.

Now I am probably going to catch some heat for this but I think that women already do rule the world. Think about it... women pretty much have a handle on their men, meaning she can bat her pretty eyes and aid himin decision making. I do however think that if women ruled the world without men it would be a huge bitchy place to be. women are far too emotional and uncentered to rule the world. However that being said I think that men could stand to gain some compassion and understanding. I think that the world would be worse if women ruled it we have not evolved enough to be as callous and brute as men, we tend to be catty and two-faced.
