No, but here's a real story. A friend of mine was canoeing in Canada, northern part. Her canoe tipped over and she was carried downstream by the current. She almost died. The natives of a small village found her and nursed her back to health. Her family thought she was dead and had her funeral. Two weeks later the natives got her to a phone and she called. Imagine the reaction of her parents when she called them after they buried her the week before.

Not canoeing, but bass fishing, which i think is stupid as hell anyway, besides, i didnt and dont have a fishing liscence...we ended up parking the boat on a little island and starting a camp fire and drinking beer
