my friend hit her mom and got sent to her dads house. but she hates her dad so she snuck back home and her mom doesnt know it yet. what do ou think her mom will do?

It's a tough situation. If your friend is violent towards her mother, the mother could ask the state to intervene and your friend could become a ward of the state, at least temporarily. Or, if your friend's mother has the resources, she could send your friend to a boarding school for troubled kids. I don't really know because you haven't told us of the background. Is your friend regularly abusive to her mother? Do they have a bad relationship? Violence from either parent or child doesn't resolve anything. At the very least they should go in to family couseling.

My friend was hit by her daughter. She called the police, charged her with domestic and her daughter spent some time in "jail'. She was under 18 so she went to juvenile hall.
Your friend got off easy I would say. Her mom may welcome her back with open arms or may not.
Hitting someone is no way to get your point across effectively. Sounds like they need some family counseling to get over the roughness and come together as a family. Maybe you, as a friend, could find a free hotline or counseling center in your area that will be willing to help them. Then give your friend or her mother the information and hope for the best. Nobody, no matter what age, should ever be homeless or afraid to turn for help.

Who knows? Ya know, you need to really be more specific with this stuff when you ask questions. Why'd she hit her? Sounds like she doesn't like either of them and she needs to grow up.

IF IT COMES DOWN TO MOM NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTROL HER, SHE CAN CALL POLICE AND PRESS CHARGES AND DAUGHTER COULD BE SENT TO A DETENTION CENTER, OR MAYBE THEY CAN WORK IT OUT.
