Online and Internet is absolutely a Great Asset to older retired individuals. Usually, a lot of time exists when one can get on the Internet, search, read, lookup, etc. etc. etc.
and it keeps the 'old gray matter' moving around in the brain.
A lot can be learned just by surfing the net.

They lack the social skills required to function out in the real world, where online they can be whomever they want without doing anything at all.

A lot of these people (men or women) have nothing better to do.
I do not have a computer in my house and surely do not want one. As soon as you buy it, it is OUTDATED!
It is an ADDICTION!

very convient, don't have to go anywhere to conversate with the rest of the world. the world is at our fingertips.
