Start screening your calls. Or if you want to play with them, start talking with a different accent and pretend that you don't understand what they are saying...that one's always fun!

Here's what i do.
Answer the phone, find out if it's them, if it is tell them to hold on one moment I will get whoever they are asking for but make sure you have the T.V. on some stupid channel and lay the phone down so they can hear. But, you have to pick the phone up every 10 or 15 seconds or so to keep them on the line then lay the phone down again right by the T.V. again till they get sick of holding on.

Consolidate your bills so they stop calling. They are trained to deal with high stress, hostile environments so they tend to be "hard shelled". Some phone companies allow you to block off certain numbers from calling you - that might help but the bigger problem don't go away. If your having trouble with your bills, try a consolidation service. Once creditors hear you are working with a service they stop calling.

First tell them if they can't be nice you will hang up on them. If they continue to call, when they ask for you just tell them hold on. Put the phone down and continue doing what you were. Waste their time for a little bit, you can do this with telemarketers also. Most of all just pay them.

To get them to stop calling you all you have to do is:
Tell them that this is an official order to cease and desist. Persuant to federal law all contact must be through mail from this point on.
They will have to stop calling you or you could take the company to court for harassment.

Send them a letter stating stating under the FDCA (Look Up which Title).......you are asking them to cease from calling you at home or work. If the collection agency wants to contact you, then must do it in writing.
Be careful..................... a lot of times they say "We never received your request." B.S.............They just send you account to another office and then the game starts all over...you need to send them a letter..................
They are many ways to allude creditors for peace and quiet.
Email me for lots more info....................

in my opinion, i could call. i could have the desire to determine they understood my difficulty. on the instant ask for a supervisor and clarify the end results of the ruling. in the event that they require info, that is comprehensible. in the event that they suspect the ruling does no longer or can't practice and could probable proceed to annoy you, deliver them a letter pointing out that they won't be able to touch you lower back and in the event that they do, you will rfile them to the Federal commerce fee.
