The best place to get and download free music is Morpheus. You will not get any viruses and it is completely free and fast (and legal too). After you download the songs you can put them on your itunes. I recommend getting Morpheus if you have DSL or Cable.

www.furthurnet.org is all completely free and legal. However you have to pick from a list of bands that have agreed to be on there and it is all live. Also www.winmx.com has lots of music but that isn't legal.
