I will be doing errands, driving, research, phones, appointments, pick ups, deliveries, contractors and sub contractors... My expenses reach over $3200 per month and I feel scared to ask for that much or more. People say that I should be asking for 25-35 $ per hour. ... How much would you pay if you had unlimited funds?

If I were applying for such a job, I would research comparable jobs and know what the salaries for those are. You say your expenses would be over $3200/month, so you must have done some research. Make sure your contract designates that your employer is responsible for your expenses and that they are not connected to your salary.

Have you tried to use Salary wizard.com to see how much people are making in the same position in your area? That should give you good idea what your pay scale would be.
As for how much I would pay, it would be based on mean salary plus expenses and a percentage added because an assistant should be treated as an invaluable asset and not just another employee.

Make sure taxes are taken from your paycheck by your employer. I worked at home as an Assistant, my employer stuck me with $1000s of IRS taxes that he should have shared. If your boss won't be claiming you as an employee on his taxes, add that into your salary...
