There 1st album rocked. They have a few great songs but mostly there work is depressing to me.

Aaron Lewis' lyrics have got me through some of the hardest times in my life. Staind is pretty much the band that saved me from myself. The songs definitely don't depress me. At a point in my life when I couldn't figure out the right words for what I felt... I turned to this band, and the words were right there.

When I listen to Staind it doesn't make me sad, but I do usually listen to their music when I'm a little down. There are so many songs that Staind sings that relates to my life.

Yes, its all depressing. The name even makes referenced to the fact that he has been marred. Who cares? Get over it, its not the 90s anymore, and its time to quit crying.
But most of all, it makes me sad that someone signed these talentless losers.

How sad do you get? If you get really morose, or start crying, please get yourself checked for clinical depression. please don't take offense at my remarks, lots of people have depression and don't know it. Since I had endocrine problems that mimicked depression, I was one of them. I'd cry at pop songs. I had to try a number of things until I found out what worked for me, but eventually, I got a lot better.

not really..i listen to Goth music and people always say its sad and depressing but Goth doesn't make me feel that way

I feel very sad when i listen to "It's Been Awhile".....because it strikes a lot closer to home than i'd like to admit. (At least to somebody other than you.)

Not really, just pissed. Because they only play the same damn two songs, over and over and over and......well you get the point.
