I have horrible credit. Is it true that I can wipe out my negative credit rating?

I live in California and was told that I can clean my negative credit by simply disputing it. Is that true? If yes where would I start?

no and disputing it will actually drag it along for a loooooooong time. best thing you can do is rebuild your credit.

start with a free credit report from www.annualcreditreport.com. Dispute anything that is incorrect. Lying about anything will make it worse.

No, it isn't true. You CAN dispute it if there is negative things on there and you can PROVE they are wrong, other than that it can't be done.
