4bbl Edelbrock carb (weber) and alum. intake, adjustable gear drive timing upgrade, and headers...laker pipes are pretty cheap from JC Whitney...like 150 bucks. Nice ones. Good luck

The original Buick engine in 1970 had a 4bbl Rochester Quadrajet carburetor. It's a big block with the oil pump external on the front cover. Good engine. I wouldn't do any modifications except putting on a CDI distributor, because anything you do to up the performance will make it use more gas and need high test. Headers make it noisy and you'll need to re-jet the carb. It's a good car leave it alone!

Lucky you! Those are cool cars. It came with a 455 cu. in. V8 producing 370 bhp and 510 lbs./ft of torque.

There are lots of performance goodies for those cars.

congrats on the new car
why care if its stock or not if you are planning on modifying it
if it is # matching and you change it.. it lowers the value
