americans i have talked to think that accents specifically english and australian are cool or sexy and if a person has an accent like that they are more likely to be attracted to them so i was wondering if people from England and Australia feel the same way about American accents.

Some American accents are just plain awful. The best ones are those with just a hint of it rather than the thick ones. The worst are probably from the cities, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles and those from the South. I always find it hard to tell what small American children are saying. They sound like chipmunks.

Personally I like German accents, I just love actors like Thomas Kretschmann, Til Schweiger and Benno Fürmann. I can tell the accent anyhow, I think its super sexy....
IT is true Americans are really disliked abroad, but I have to admit Matthew McConaughey little southern accent is very sweet to the ears...

People from any other countries hate Americans for the most part. They might like the accent just for a change, but they will definitely not find it sexy.

I lived in England for a few years and everone always told me I had a lovely accent. I told them I don't have the accent you do. It never hit me that I would have an accent to them.

I'm from the Southern US and have a guy friend in England...he says that he thinks my accent is sexy.

I like accents I think they are sexy. I'm a California girl, and I don't really think we have an accent, but if a hot European guy thought my accent was sexy...I'D DIG IT!! : )~
