Getting pierced always hurts because you are sticking a large needle through your skin. The needle has to be thick to allow the jewellery to fit. But is rarely hurts more than a tetanus jab.
The inside of your nose is delicate mucus membrane; it has a lot of nerve endings so it hurts more than your ears. Your eyes may water. But it doesn't last long and you put up with it if you really want it.
Tattooing is more painful than piercing, so is childbirth, but people do those things more than once.

I got mine done a year ago, and it was fine! Stings a little bit (maybe a tiny bit more than your ears) and your eye waters on that side of your nose, but it was definitely one of my least painful piercings. Be careful at night though - mine would catch on my pillow case at night and come out, then I'd have to try and get it back in... that was the tricky and painful part. If you're worried about that - you can sleep with a band aid over your nose in the beginning... you'll look like a dork, but it'll save you a HELL of a lot of pain! Trust me there! *Cringes at the memory*

Yes it did hurt more than getting my ears pierced. But its only for a few seconds, and after that its great and you dont really have any pain! I got mine pierced about a year ago and it fell out while i was sleeping so i went and got it re-pierced which hurts a lot! so make sure it doesnt fall out! Have fun!

I had mine done with a gun and i would say yes it hurt more than my ears. It makes your eyes water and stings for a little while but eventually subsides. It takes more aftercare than your ears too due to the high amount of germs present.

Just for a second or two when the needle went thru there was a quick sharp pain (to be expected....needle into your body = OUCH!!!). My eyes watered big time, as soon as the needle pushed thru the skin tears just streamed down my face...and I wasn't crying!
Make sure to follow the aftercare directions, it really is important to prevent infection (not a pretty place to have all red & yucky). It's for YOUR own good really!

hurts like f*ck! you can't even compare the two. your ears are flesh (the lobes anyway) but nose is not so it's more painful. but then it only hurts at that moment and a little bit during the healing process if it's done right.

yes yes yes. Eyebrows however surprisingly don't hardly hurt at all. Less than lower earlobes. nose hurts very much about the same or more than the top you ear's cartilage, because that is what your nose is too.

No it didn't really hurt me, less than my ear lobes anyway. If you do get it done I advise getting a stud with a bend in it, as pushing it back in if it falls out can hurt and lead to infection.

Yes, it hurts a bit more because of the nerves, but the pain doesn't last as long.
