Basically, this is paid advertising...
Sorta like taking out a "classified ad" on the internet to get people to your site...

Sign up for an adwords account.

Then you'll set up campaigns like this:

First make an ad. You'll write your title, text, and url.

Select some search terms like "monkey" and "monkeys" and "primate hillbillies".

Then decide if you want your ads to appear only to searchers in certain geographic regions.

Then choose if you want your ads to appear just on Google or on other websites.

Then you decide how much money you are willing to pay Google each time someone clicks on your ad. You could say 5 cents, you could say $100.

Then you decide how much you are willing to spend on that campaign each day.

Then you decide how much you are willing to budget for Google for the month.

The more you are willing to spend, the higher and more often your ad will appear, unless noone clicks your ad, and Google will move you down.
