You obviously know where Dubya gets his policies from:-

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring 1946 Nuremberg Trials (Nazi)

The US. Government has lied about many wars. The increase of troops in Vietnam was based on an attack in the Tonkin Gulf that never happened. Some say that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor and let it happen to get support to join World War Two. The Spanish-American War (Remember the Maine!) was also based on a hoax.

Not to mention the numerous covert wars that they lied about. Iran-Contra, the overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran, Allende in Chile, Arbenz in Guatemala. Also the war in Panama, against someone who was on the payroll of the CIA. Cuba as well. The Bay of Pigs invasion was supported by the CIA, and the people who invaded were trained by the CIA in Guatemala.

Also, after reading what Dubya's puppeteers had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

It brings into question 9/11/(2001), which was never investigated properly, and has been hijacked in order to enact Dubya's agenda and the subsequent illegitimate wars.

I do agree with Dubya on one thing:-

"I think one way for us to end up being viewed as the ugly American is for us to go around the world saying, "We do it this way. So should you."
"I think the United States must be humble and must be proud and confident of our values, but humble in how we treat nations that are figuring out how to chart their own course."

Bush didn't 'plan' this attack. He was only in office for 9 months when the attack occured. You people are ridiculous. Clinton knew about the possibility of attack when he left office. He had 3 opportunities to take out Bin Laden via the CIA and wouldn't approve it. So I guess that some of you that hate Bush so much, if a Democrat was put in office instead (and believe me, the attacks STILL would have taken place) the Democrat would just sit back and not done anything? I guess so, because that's exactly what Clinton did with the first WTC underground garage attack and the attack on the USS Cole by the terrorists. You want to talk about 'conspiracy'? Just look at Clinton and the Democratic party who chose to look the other way. And by the way, the immigration problem and all the illegal immigrants receiving benefits just like they were US citizens? You can thank your wonderful Ted Kennedy for that.

well if it was a set up for us to go to war, we are at war with the wrong country don't you think. it was bin laden and afghanistan that attacked us. bush went to war with iraq to try and do the job his father couldn't after sadam tried to kill him.

911 just shows that our government didn't learn from history. we are always told the reason for studying history is so we don't repeat it but our government did just that. when the japanese attacked pearl harbor they warned the government they were coming and it was ignored. for 911 our government was warned once again and once again they chose to ignore the warning.

bush was looking for any reason he could find to go after sadam, and he is using 911 as an excuse. he also claimed there were weapons of mass destruction which have not been found yet. we are fighting a war that we should not be fighting and so many of our young men and women are being killed everyday.

It was set up by AlQueda to provoke a holy war between the Christian west and the Muslim countries in the middle east. Bin Laden was sick and tired of moderate Muslims in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries because they wouldn't oppose the US and other countries, and mostly were ok to live in peace. He wanted them all to take sides and participate in his stupid little war that he'd dreamed up. He knew that if he attacked the US directly, that the US would not be able to resist giving him the war he wanted.

Unfortunately for us, everything went exactly as planned, George Bush stood up and said "If you're not with us you're against us" (which is what binladen had been saying for years) and the Neo-Conservatives and the Israel Lobby were able to use 9/11 to get the US government involved in several wars against Arab Muslim states, with no clear goals or plans.

Now we have war in all parts of the middle east and moderate muslims are becoming extremists by the thousands, just like Bin Laden wanted them to. He used the very simple theory that violence begets violence to start all the war and bloodshed that you see now.

No 911 was put in place to give a standardized number across the boards for people to call and reach emergency services without any guessing who to call or what the numbers might be in the 40,000 places they might be when an emergency might arise---even though it will operate fairly well into a heavy duty load in case something much bigger should come along---it's primary purpose all along has been for the standard emergencies that happen in day to day life

tough to say. I recently watched the Loose Change movie on google video -- pretty hard to believe all of that. But I have a hard time believing politicians and the Lame-stream media, too.

Whether it was a set up or not, I doubt many of us thought on 9/12, "gee, you know what we should do? -- Go to war with Iraq!" Now we've caught Sadam, but strangley Usama is still 'on the loose'. Funny, the local library will get you if you have a book out for 2 weeks, but if your a 7 foot tall Arab in Afghanistan, hiding in a cave, the entire US government can't get a bead on you. Makes sense.

President Bush led the country into war based on false information, falsified threats and a fictitious estimate of the consequences. His war and the continuing occupation transformed Iraq into a training ground for jihadists who want to kill Americans, and a cause célèbre for stoking resentment in the Muslim world.

Bush's war and occupation squandered the abundant good will felt by the world for America after our 9/11 losses. He enriched his cronies at Halliburton and other private interests through the occupation. And he diverted our attention and abilities away from apprehending the masterminds of the 9/11 attack. Instead, we are mired in an occupation which has already cost over 2,000 American lives and the lives of tens of thousands of Iraqis.

The issue of the war clearly distinguishes what is wrong with Republican rule. Republicans in Congress won't extricate the United States from the quagmire the president has gotten us into. They have refused to investigate what role the White House played in manipulating pre-war intelligence. They refused to investigate the Downing Street memo. Democrats, on the other hand, mostly voted against the war: Two-thirds of House Democrats and half of Senate Democrats opposed the war in Iraq. Democrats can draw no clearer distinction with the president and the Republican Congress than over this war.

Every major poll confirms that the war is a loser for the president and his party. Consider one of the most prominent: The ABC/Washington Post poll, which has surveyed public opinion on the war regularly since March 2003. Responses to all pertinent key questions clearly show eroding support for the war. Support for the president's handling of Iraq has steadily fallen; belief that the war was worth fighting has fallen; belief that the number of U.S. casualties are an acceptable cost of the war has steadily fallen; belief that the war has contributed to U.S. long-term security has steadily fallen, and support for keeping forces in Iraq has steadily fallen. There are no exceptions to this trend.

Right is on our side, and public opinion is trending our way. In 2006, Democrats must break from the past and run on the issue of quick withdrawal of all troops from Iraq. The stakes are high: Unless Democrats stand for ending the war in Iraq, this country will not leave Iraq, and Democrats their minority status in Washington, for a long time to come.

Of course, no party can win votes on the strength of one issue. Ending the war in Iraq must be at the centerpiece of a campaign that includes standing for national health care and preserving Social Security. This is the constellation of issues with which Democrats can take back the country.

"9/11" was set up by Al Qaeda, with no particular concern as to we would decide to retaliate or not. We are not like them and so they hate us. Also, they know that it is virtually impossible to win completely against terrorist or guerrilla actions, where they make sneak attacks and run away.
