Count 14 days from the start of your last period (if your period started on the 2nd then you will ovulate around the15th) I was told this by a specialist as i am also trying. What makes you think it wont happen? you have one child already so that is proof that your ok, its not unusual to take up to a year to conceive so stop being so hard on yourself. Try making love every other night when your period ends up until your ovulation date. Sperm can live a while in your fallopian tubes so this will be often enough, best luck xx

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Ovulation usually happens 14 days after the first day of your last period. Best of luck!
p.s. You might think this is weird, but it worked for me. Try laying down with your legs in the air for 10 minutes after intercourse...it lets gravity do its thing. I know that's really strange, but, as ridiculous as I felt, it worked for me. Good luck!

Worry helps to avoid it every time. I think just relaxing and letting be what be is the best way to get pregnant....also, go to your ob/gyn and get a check-up, it never hurts to make sure everything is OK as well. Best wishes =)

Your body will give you the signals you need to know when you're fertile if you know what to look for. Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler; you'll learn how to keep track of your unique cycle and know when *you* ovulate, rather than when the average woman with the average cycle ovulates.

Ok. I know this will sound gross to most, but I got pregnant while having sex during my period.
Not the heavy days, but the few light days before it got heavy or after.
good luck.
